Ouch not the responses I intended to receive. Not sure why anyone can't have a general opinion on the topic. I don't see where I said "we will" anywhere in there but definitely not trying to make the decision for JD or the league

2040 is a pretty good guess.
We will be done with the 2038 season by Feb. 15th.
However, if you look at the past sim schedules, we are getting through seasons in a little over 2 months.
So That puts us at the end of 2039 season right around the time the game comes out.
Then we will need some time to test it out and see what changes, if any, need to be made, with settings and such.
So I am guessing we will be doing that during the 2040 season, so we do not delay us at all.
So 2041 is the soonest I see us on it.
Now, with all of that said, I am not a fan of moving to something immediately.
When it first comes out, I plan on being on the ootp forums a lot so we can see if any other leagues are having any issues while we test our league on it.
So it could be the 2042 season or later if there are any bugs found with it that cause any significant issues.
We will see.
It all depends on how good of a product OOTP puts out in their 17 version.

I think that seems to be a fair assessment of what happened. Turmoil in Miami!
