Knights SP Hicks Tosses Masterpiece: David Hicks of the Charlotte Knights humiliated the Washington Thunder Crabs at Renegade Ballpark (Outlaws) today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.

"He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Washington manager Michael Murphy, after the game.

Hicks whiffed 11 and walked 0 in the 3-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Hicks said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

This season Hicks has worked 89 innings with 69 strikeouts en route to a 4-3 record and a 4.45 ERA.

New laptop seems to be a success and file was uploaded, website done, and all wrapped up in about 50% less time. Impressive!

Feel so bad for SP Rod Stewart... Sporting a 2.78 ERA but has a losing record because we can't generate any offense.

Also, shameless plug for SP Michael Bolden. Has a 2.92 ERA and does have a winning record. He's doing it by himself guys! The bats sure aren't winning those games for him...

Boston wins 3 out of 4 against Sheltown and all of the wins are 1 run games.

What was not impressive was that Greek bullpen this sim.... Yuck. I am about to post a you can have Ty Key for a 20/20 post after this last week.

Spitters just 3.5 games behind 1st place* Sheltown in the AL East

John O'Connor leads the AL in avg, OBP, 3rd in OPS, leads by .9 war, runs created, 2nd in runs, leads in hits, 3rd in total bases, all while playing above average defense at SS. Also already set a career high with 14 HRs. I know JJ Taylor puts up the more traditional HR/RBI stats but I think OC has to be MVP front runner right now followed by the guy who pushed him out of town Richard Todd
