Speaking of skinny... Travis Benjamin is the skinniest dude on earth. His biceps and calves are the same size as my wrists.

My 2 major takeaways from working the sideline... that... and Owen Marecic has major mental issues. Definitely not what I expected out of a guy from Stanford.

I read it as Wayne Simien the first time. I think it was because my eyes had skipped ahead to "power forward".

he's useful and I don't mind him but I'm not a huge fan of signing mid-tier free agents to 4 year deals.
he's going to fill into Luke Babbit's role but he's a better PnR defender and is also a better passer

It's a reach after swinging and missing on Hairward.

back court: Dragic, Tyler, Josh Rich, Waiters, Ellington, Mcgruder
front court: Winslow, JJ, Olynyk, Bam, Okaro, Udonis, Whiteside
doesn't seem like a lot on paper but every guy other than Whiteside, Bam and Winslow (unless he progressed) is a capable 3 point shooter. they are already good defensively. they are all multi positional players with passing ability except basically Whiteside and Bam.
I think they'll be equally fun to watch as they were last year. i'm not a Winslow fans so I hope he proves me wrong and becomes the stud they hoped he will become. Unless he can shoot I think he's going to fuck up the flow they had last year.

Heat roster is mostly set for 3 more seasons.
After that only Waiters and Olynyk or under contract, so they'll have tons of room under the cap. That coincides with the offseason that AD and Giannis could become free agents.

I like the move because I like the guy from an entertainment perspective and NBA league pass next year. Will be a fun team to watch.
