Fellow OOTP brothers, I am in the market for a new phone. I am trying to compare the option of getting a droid or one of the new apples phones for verizon. Anyone have any opinions on either. All I keep hearing is how much better the Iphone is and how it is easier to use. A friend of mine is a big apple suporter, says the phone has the best technology in the world and is competitively priced. Thoughts...?

Good idea, but that would involve trendon taking time to give someone the info needed. He probably doesnt have the time to do that.

As I stated above, Shel has comish powers, so we at least have an access point. Ill do some research to see how we can transfer comish. I will volunteer to run the sims. We just might not get the website updated until trendon comes back.

If shel has commissioner powers, then he can just log on to the game and run the sim. The issue seems to be shel isn't familiar with how to do so. Also, we don't know what trendon has completed in the sim. His game will be different than shel's game, based on what happened in the last sim. So, if shel runs a sim, then it deletes anything trendon has completed unless he actually exported his file. Therefore, we still would have to wait to hear from trendon of what can be done in order to proceed.

If shel runs a sim, do all our uploads get used in his sim? Perhaps we can have shel run a 1 day sim to make sure all of our updates made it into the game. If not then we would be able to make our changes again 1 day later. This would make sure we dont have a ton of free agents signing before we get a chance to counter. What do you guys think?

Maybe we can ask Trendon if he would mind letting Shel handle the reigns for a while if he doesnt have the time.

To take trendon's side. He has the league hosted on his own server. Therefore, he is paying for the league. Advancing without him know would... well, it would be wrong. After all, he allowed us to host this entire game on his server.

Back to simming issue with shel - again, if he has the commish powers, then he can do everything trendon can. But again, he would be abandoning trendon's changes (whether it be to his own team or to the league).
