I don't see how user catch is cheesin... It's a pain in the ass yes, but I don't consider anything labeled "user" cheesy, outside of user jump snap on every down without fail. Other than that, it still requires some form of effort. Unless of course your lobbing Rainbows to your Impact 6'5" receiver every other play.

Not all user catches are cheesy. I mean if a pass is off the mark and you take control of the receiver and make a play on the ball I applaud that. But some will lob it deep and take control of the receiver early, weave off the route and draw the db with him, then cut back in and make the catch. Play a lobby game if you want to see it.

Is user catch cheasy? I made two really cool plays where I came back to the ball on an out route. Would that be cheasy?
Let's just say "certain guy(s)" think that user catching is cheesy.
Project time for Uuaww... we need game play demographics analysis! Put together a chart of guys and detail their NCAA style. Ex, are they usually considered cheesy? Are they a pain in the butt to schedule? Do they whine about everything in the game? Do they consider user catching cheesy? Do they consider play the pass cheesy? Do they run too much? Do they pass too much? Will they dock you for blinking/breathing? Will they not dock you even if you run HB direct all game?

The only lobby games I play are against friends. Some of the guys have never seen this done before so I was just giving them a place to see it. I play alot of farm games and see it all the time by guys who will never make it to the league.
I had a game against Northwestern where on the first drive of the game, I threw a deep pass (lobbed) that was underthrown and into double coverage. I took control of my WR and hit Triangle as soon as he was in the circle. He then jumped up and caught the ball while both NU players stood and watched. Couldnt believe what happend and have never seen it happen since. I am sure chusker was pissed and wouldnt blame him if he docked me for it. But I swear, it was 99% luck and 1% skill.
I usually switch to the DB, so that's why I've never realized that the DB would actually follow the freakin' WR. That's just stupid. If the ball is in the air, they should be making a play on the ball. Hoos... can you remind us how crappy this AI is?
