Which is funny cause the Bears now have 10 TEs on the roster.

Pretty happy with the FIns haul. Obviously all predicated on Tua - but I like that they didn't panic and trade up for him. Love that they invested in OL early as well

Didn't love picking a damn long snapper in the 6th

The GOAT college football team ties the record for most players drafted with 14.

No, California, but my Dad played for the Fins back in the 70's

Jameis to the Saints... Mildly surprised he couldn't find a starting gig even with his propensity to turn the ball over

You can't just say the 70's and not let us know whether he was there in '72 or not. :!:

Certainly not worth it for a guy that gets 2.8 touches a game, but...

What this signifies to me is that next season is likely the last for Brees, and this Taysom extension probably guarantees he'll be the Saints 2021 starter assuming Brees retires. So they gave him that extra year to essentially have a tryout season as the 2021 starter.

If he didn't get the extension, he'd be a free agent next offseason, and/or the Saints would have to tag him as a QB for 2021 as i understand it, which would obviously not happen.

Interesting stat:
Most turnover plays in a single season since 2006
Jameis Winston (2019) - 40
Carson Palmer (2013) - 40
Andrew Luck (2012) - 40

All in their first season with Bruce Arians

It's certainly possible but it's curious because when there was opportunity with Drew hurt last year he didn't get any run and then they sign a backup relegating him to gadget player/special reamer only again this year. What's clear for certain though is Payton loves him some Taysom
