Saints sign Jameis Winston, 1 year, $1.1mil.

So we've signed a backup QB to backup TE money and a backup TE to backup QB money. That's different.

All equals out right ? I do like the Winston deal and if there's one place for him to improve his efficiency I can't think of a better one than NO

Is Winston there simply to ask about arians playbook to prep for Brady with it?

I don’t think it’ll matter because Brady is done so and this is more likely to be a flop than good.

Jameis will be a solid fit in NO. Solid option for Payton to try to mold for life after Brees and at the very worst a solid backup now. Price is certainly right as well.

How many draft picks will Goodell take away from the Saints for this?
Former Pittsburgh Steelers star James Harrison said coach Mike Tomlin gave him an envelope after the linebacker's devastating hit on Cleveland Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi in 2010.

"The G-est thing Mike Tomlin ever did, he handed me an envelope after that," Harrison said on Barstool's "Going Deep" podcast. "I'm not going to say what, but he handed me an envelope after that."

2 DB's (no clue what the names are) are being sought for armed robbery. One is a Giant DB drafted last year, other was traded from Washington (to who??). Supposedly they went in to a poker game and robbed everyone, got away with $17k (?) and some watches worth 10's of thousands of dollars. Word is they were at a poker game with those same people a couple of days before and they lsot $70k.

Nothing like "keeping it real" over $70k as a multi-millionaire

I don't know, multiple eye witnesses.....

and there were reports that there was a third (unnamed) and he was ordered to shoot someone that came in during the robbery

The NFL ran an auction to watch an NFL game with Roger Goodell at his house. The dude who owns Barstool Sports for a long time now crushes Goodell every chance he gets, and he privately outbid everyone and won the auction. I think he was even arrested in NYC at the NFL headquarters when he pulled some stupid stunt there for publicity.

Now Goodell has stated that he won't go through with watching the game with the Barstool guy.

What you should take away from this? Goodell hates the children.

They cancelled the bid under the guise of him failing the background check.

NFL said they’d pay the $250k to the charity and Dave would not be charged.

The world is losing its mind, and Drew Brees is losing his skill players.

Drew Brees has long said he doesn't agree with kneeling during the National Anthem. Which is funny because before Kaep, every single person who is for it would have agreed it's disrespectful which is why they stand, but I digress.

Drew Brees did some kind of interview today and he reiterated those points, again nothing new was actually learned. And now Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, and Alvin Kamara have tweeted about it and supposedly all unfollowed him
