The game changed no doubt but if he didn't get hurt and was able to keep working he could have changed with it. Westbrook has done just fine and Rose was more athletic but obviously not as strong.

i have no idea, but i'm fairly certain Kevin Durant wouldn't be that upset over a joke. so i'd tend to believe he was either in the know or playing his part really well

I think the complete opposite. Durant has yet to show he can take a joke in any presser or scenario. Hes usually pretty blunt about things.
