Bill Maher and the dude with the eye patch debating.
That was a good conversation. I liked how he wouldn't let Bill Maher shape a narrative that was spun in half truths and I liked how Maher held his feet to the fire regarding Trump. I did like his answers regarding Trump though. I can see him moving up big time in the political field in the next 10 years, if he doesn't just drop out like Trey Goudy, who I thought the same as well.
Crenshaw is one of the few politicians or political media that I follow on Twitter. We disagree a on a few things (marijuana/school/foreign intervention) but overall, I like how he makes his points. Even on things I don't agree with, he at least makes his point in a way that I have to give it solid thought.
George, I'd say Crenshaw is more likely to climb up than Gowdy. Gowdy had another strong option with going back into the legal field and he's pretty solid at that. Crenwshaw's biggest obstacle will be similar, in that he's willing to call out his own side on bullshit. It's probably in his best interest to move on quickly from his house position. Even though he's in Texas, he's in a purple (if not blue) area. The guy is 36, graduated HS in another country, has a Master's from Harvard, 10yrs as a SEAL, and is in his 2nd year as a house rep. Helluva resume!
