Changing a tax limitation for this year that will result in a $90B difference in taxes where $74B of that benefit will be seen by people making over $1M - shady?
Job creaters bro they earn it...... About par for the coarse for Republicans isn't it? Didn't almost 90% of the benefits of the tax bill awhile back go to the top 1%?

Pretty sure this isn't entirely social distancing but the hell with it. We have been tired as hell sitting in the house day after day so we decided on a last minute road trip. We drove across the state to Western Nebraska to see Chimney Rock and Car Henge. Car Henge is exactly what you think it is, an exact replica of Stone Henge made with cars.

The IHME model projected US death count drops again, from 68k to 60k.

Looks like the COVID-19 thread is finally turning a corner:

Thursday 4/16: 62
Friday 4/17: 22
Saturday 4/18: 4

I really think it's gong to disappear. One day, it's like a miracle, it will disappear.

That was a good conversation. I liked how he wouldn't let Bill Maher shape a narrative that was spun in half truths and I liked how Maher held his feet to the fire regarding Trump. I did like his answers regarding Trump though. I can see him moving up big time in the political field in the next 10 years, if he doesn't just drop out like Trey Goudy, who I thought the same as well.

Watching HLN this morning and their Hollywood reporter said there is a Broadway guy that lost his leg due to COVID19 complications. Didn't know loss of limbs were a COVID19 side effect

Crenshaw is one of the few politicians or political media that I follow on Twitter. We disagree a on a few things (marijuana/school/foreign intervention) but overall, I like how he makes his points. Even on things I don't agree with, he at least makes his point in a way that I have to give it solid thought.

George, I'd say Crenshaw is more likely to climb up than Gowdy. Gowdy had another strong option with going back into the legal field and he's pretty solid at that. Crenwshaw's biggest obstacle will be similar, in that he's willing to call out his own side on bullshit. It's probably in his best interest to move on quickly from his house position. Even though he's in Texas, he's in a purple (if not blue) area. The guy is 36, graduated HS in another country, has a Master's from Harvard, 10yrs as a SEAL, and is in his 2nd year as a house rep. Helluva resume!

When the official count in one town was under 1k, this Stanford study suggests the actual number of people who were infected was between 48k-81k.

I don't know much about him or his specific views, but that Maher video got me now listening to Crenshaw with Joe Rogan.

So far so good. He gets right to the point and is very direct. No fluff and emotional stuff it seems like we get from most politicians.

Same goes for a USC study with LA county. It shows cases could be as much as 28-55 times higher than actual cases. Actual is 8k, rough projection is 221k-442k.

I think there's 1 more from another county I read yesterday with the same results. I'll try to find it.
