Meh, I still like USC Over ND.....ONLY for the reason ND secondary is their weakest point, and obviously USC strongest point is their WR core, most of their passes this year have been short and letting the WR's do work, so I think that could take a little stress off Wittek, but maybe all this is happening for a reason...it's like everything is lining up for the Irish to play, no matter how much luck, or just the way things have worked out.




Next weekend there are sooooo many games that mean so much, I love it.

As 1 of 2 Cal fans here... I'm still sad to see him go he is the reason we became decent, we were 1-11 before him and he made us a top 25 team. He's the reason we got a new stadium. Instead of being at the bottom of the Pac-12 we were always talked about at the top. Still, he was awful the last 3 years. We were blown out constantly by better teams, tons of penalties, just seems like he lost control of the team.

Hearing 3 names thrown around, Chris Petersen (won't come), Hue Jackson and Ron Rivera.

Well I m thankful for what he was able to do with the program, making Cal relevant in the Pac12 and for short while somewhat relevant in the national spotlight. But Im glad to see him go, for a supposed QB guru Cal has not had a good QB since Rodgers, Cal failed to win the games that could really propel them to relevance, and the team in many seasons would just seem to give up on the year after that first loss where they knew they could no longer meet expectations.

Like you said the last 3 seasons they been undisciplined and just horrid to watch at times with their play calling and execution. There is a time we you realize the coach is not going to take the program any further and move on.

As for future coaches Chris Petersen would be awesome but your right , just wont happen. Hue Jackson don't really know enough to say, and god I hope not on Ron Rivera, Rivera is awful in my opinion. I think we need an offensive minded coach to come in, but at the same time, I would really like to hang on to Pendergast as I think he has done a great job with the D over the last few seasons he has been here at Cal.
