Wow.
I am surprised they thought they would get away with it.

Where do these people get the time!!!

I wish we could see their slash numbers with the bangs vs without the bangs.

I didn't read the entire thing but it's also important to note, as I understand it, the bangs were for offspeed pitches. So even when there's no bang, that does not mean they were not stealing signs.

my guess is they did it mostly to relievers who have 2 maybe 3 pitches. would be too complicated to use this system with SPs with 4-5 pitches

they have the audio for every pitch. some of these make no sense

torontos starts in 1st inning.. a bang on a Fastball, then a bang on a Change, Sinker and then Change.

Interesting that Altuve has really low numbers.

I don’t know much about the prospects they got but shedding Price has to feel good. It’s crazy these money machine teams saying they can’t sign stars like Boston and the Cubs with KB. I can’t see any way there is not a work stoppage in 2 years as this CBA is garbage

I hate that they got rid of Betts.

I honestly think he is a top 5 player and a generational talent in his prime.

I get the financials but since when does Boston care about the luxury tax??

Sad day

hate the Boston lost Mookie. maybe these prospects are going to be studs, who knows. glad we dumped price though

Price had a 2.3 WAR in 22 starts last year. Of course hes not worth near the top contract in the MLB but least hes serviceable unlike Chris Davis for example.

Jays fans were hoping to somehow get Price in the deal (with $$ of course). Oh wells, go win another title with the Dodgers

I don’t know the specifics of the prospects but general readings have said Boston didn’t get near enough and the prospects are just “solid” in the deal and is looked at as just a dump.

that's how deals like that have to go...in real life

in ootp marginal/not elite prospects rarely blow up.....so guys would rather take nothing for a future free agent they aren't going to pay

the more i read into this, the more id be lividddd if i was a sox fan.

owner is worth 7+ billion.. Sox have the same payroll size they had in 2006. Hes not willing to give 40/yr to Betts who is arguably the 2nd best player of this generation and 27.. But had no problem burning 45m in the move sending Price out to save a couple bucks. Sickening.

you're assuming Betts wants to stay in boston. its not like he will be a RFA.....anyone can offer him that contract
