Then it went next level strange sport last night... spikeball. It's like 2 teams of 2 stand around a mini trampoline and try to spike a ball off of it. Theory seemed cool, but the it looked like something being played by a bunch of unathletic sorority girls. American Ninja Warrior is more entertaining.

BAKER, LA (WAFB) - A victim turned the tables on his would-be robber early Monday morning, according to investigators. Baker Police Chief Carl Dunn said the victim, a reserve constable, was loading up his truck on Ligon Road in Zachary late Sunday night when he heard a noise outside. Dunn said when the victim looked up, he saw a man on a bike pointing a gun at him. He added the suspect demanded money, but the victim didn’t have any. At that point, the suspect demanded to be taken to ATMs, according to Dunn. The police chief stated the pair rode together to multiple cash machines to withdraw money. Dunn said the victim eventually reached his limit of withdrawals, but the suspect allegedly told him that was not good enough. "Hold up," the victim reportedly told the suspect. "I’ve got another bank card at home." According to Dunn, the suspect rode with the victim to his home in Baker. "I’ve got big mean dogs, so don’t come in," the victim reportedly said. "If you’re not out fast, I’m coming in," the suspect allegedly replied. Dunn said the victim went inside his home, grabbed his gun, and waited. He also said once the suspect entered the home, the victim shot him once, disarmed him, and waited for police to arrive. Dunn added the victim was able to get all of his money back. Police have not yet released the suspect’s name and charges he is facing.

It's certainly not something I can watch on TV.

The concept is cool. Super easy and can be played any time you go to the beach or whatever. I'm sure if it were there when I was in college or lived near a beach when I was a teen or in my early 20s, I would have loved it.

It is a blast to play on the beach and surprisingly a great workout.
