Seeing your trade block and waving of the white flag has been a nice feeling as the changing of the guard if you will in the AL Blue
I've had a good run. While I would like to trade Page/Hines/Garza for prospects, it doesn't seem to be in the cards so I'll probably just ride them out.

Use Sheltown's strategy, what can go wrong!!!

You need to quit worrying about Boston and start worrying about the other teams in the NL first.
Haha, by no means am I overlooking you or any other NL contenders. We are all pretty evenly matched but Boston is looking unstoppable.
I'll tell the Beef staff to start beaning them this coming series and try to put 1 or 2 on a long DL sting

That contract may cripple the Ducks for a couple of years while he finishes his career in the minors

Can't blame him. He needs to try and get him to sign a Bobby Bonilla restructuring type of deal lol

Not sure what is going on there but if he refuses demotion he will be released as I will not be manually putting him back anywhere.
Tread lightly is all I will say.

Did he waive and DFA or just waive him? If it's waive+DFA, I think he gets released automatically.
otherwise, I think you can just continually waive a guy over and over but he's still on your 25 man and getting paid. So while it seems silly, it's basically harmless in the end.

MLBPA would lose their shit if this was happening IRL.

If it gets to the point during a sim in the morning and he is DFA and he refuses demotion to AAA, they are manually released by me. I have posted numerous times about that and warned guys as well. This has always been the case.
I am unsure what way he is waiving him but this is the 2nd time he has been on waivers so I assume he is doing the latter.

Boston was the hot knife.
NE and Miami were the warm butter this sim.

IRL he'd have a release settlement. People don't check the trade blocks and respond more frequently when the player is on waivers
