Tom Ronaldi was seen in Boston to do a story on backup catcher Tommy Lewis retiring at age 26 right before the postseason to donate his kidney to his dying sister.
Soft espn music and all.

Acquire Casey Sawyer (3.25 ERA 1.10 WHIP) August 10th, use only 4 times posting a 0.00 ERA and 0.65 WHIP
Leave Sloan (4.58 ERA, 1.38 WHIP) and Lewis (3.65 ERA, 1.53 WHIP) as closer and primary setup, miss playoffs by one game

After a up and down first half, San Fran quietly ran away with the division. Both Campbell and Denson both dominate down the stretch, looks like that late season switch has been flipped.

The Caucs have trimmed their roster and are ready for the playoffs. I'm praying the first round series goes the distance so all these little short term injuries on my roster are given time to fully heal.
