So maybe he really sucks at baseball?
I don't know what else it could be. You'd think he could get on at most smaller 1A schools as a QB/baseball player.

this was the end of the article... sounds like the writer saw something in him a while ago:
After a tremendous high school career that came to end today, what can you do to top it on the next level?
Blanchard-" Win a national championship plain and simple. I want to win a OVC conf title and National Championship while at Jacksonville State."
One thing I have learned over the past 12 months meeting and scouting Coty Blanchard. Do not bet against him, the kid has " IT".

Or maybe the football coaches at some of the schools he was considering wanted him to play football only?

TCU's defense is looking suspect this year. Not good for the Horned Frogs!

Didn't take long for LSU-UNC to become a boring game.

Getting interesting now after UNC finally showed some life.

I hate the BS late hit calls they ALWAYS call. QB got hit before any part of his body goes out of bounds, but that will always get a flag.
I don't know why anyone thought LSU would roll after all these suspensions. We NEVER blow anyone out.
This is gonna be a close one.

I'm seriously about to fall asleep.
I only have 1.5 beers left, and considering our offense doesn't look any better than the 109th offense we had last year, I need at least 6-8 more for the rest of the night.
This is not good.

You cannot complain about offense after what I had to sit through today.

Damn Right.
I'm almost ready to call him simply the best player in the nation.
He's a freak.

A full UNC team beats the hell out of LSU.

How is TCU's option not getting illegal shift peanlites. Both the QB and the RB are moving before the snap.

Nebraskas defense not looking so special...allowed a touchdown for the first time in 14 quarters. Offense is looking good with a redshirt freshman as our starting QB over our senior quarterback and has 3 rushing TDs. Pelini Bros. need to step up the defensive game though. 49-10 as the game is coming to a close.

That's definitely arguable. The man is amazing.
