That in my opinion is making a play when your QB made a horrible pass.
Dont consider that cheasy at all.

Wouldnt the DB follow the WR in real life? Most of the time they dont appear to be looking into the backfield when they are running upfield.ReignOnU wrote:I usually switch to the DB, so that's why I've never realized that the DB would actually follow the freakin' WR. That's just stupid. If the ball is in the air, they should be making a play on the ball. Hoos... can you remind us how crappy this AI is?
Yea, but have you ever seen a WR running full speed downfield then while the ball is in the air, decide to make a sharp cut 30 yards into his route one way then a sharp cut back the other way to make a catch. I pretty sure that is an obvious no.brwnbear wrote:Wouldnt the DB follow the WR in real life? Hey that guy got like 42 double AA batteries right now.Cnasty wrote:In this case you would be wrong because "user catching is cheasy and sad you had to restort to that to win at the end".
Even though I am one of the worst user anythings out there.

Isn't that one of the things the fabled patch we've been hearing about supposed to fix?jsence2 wrote:I think I've user-catched more on this version already than any other version. Can't count how many times I've thrown a pass to an open guy, just to have it whiz by his head so close that it could scrape the paint off his helmet/facemask...and he never even raises a finger to try to get it.

Seen the ball bounce of facemasks/backs with my opponent and self way too many times this season. If I was a coach, I'd just point to the bench when he came off the field.jsence2 wrote:I think I've user-catched more on this version already than any other version. DB just follows the wideout like they're attached at the hip. Massive facepalm moment when I saw it the first time.6ftdeep wrote:Yea, but have you ever seen a WR running full speed downfield then while the ball is in the air, decide to make a sharp cut 30 yards into his route one way then a sharp cut back the other way to make a catch.
