or maybe you had perfect parents who taught you the proper way to raise a kid.
kids deserve innocence for as long as they can have it. why don't we just start polluting kids with 'real world' negativity as soon as they are born by your ideals. 'hey little jimmy, you're going to get fucked over by a girl when you get older' 'hey little jimmy, you're going to die' 'hey little jimmy, little boys like you get molested by monsters all the time' 'hey little jimmy, theres no such thing as santa you stupid fuck' 'hey little jimmy, your daddy doesn't love your mommy he's just with her to keep you happy'. you're right tren, we should just let kids hear everything from day 1... no need to sugar coat anything.
in all honesty, its really not a big deal that he dropped an 'F-bomb'. i don't think even the craziest parents would be 'outraged' about it, but he should apologize because its the right thing to do and everyone moves on.

Kick returns and pick sixes are the two biggest momentum plays in all of football. I just went from comfortable to nervous again.

Boy oh boy chip Kelly is in whiny bitch mode tonight and just got himself a call.
Re: Week 12 College Football Thread
They said that about women centuries ago. It was impolite to curse around women - not children - because they thought they needed to be protected from society; keep their innocence. That view changed. So will this one about kids ... I hope. In fact, (male) children were subjected and taught about such innocent things like war, weaponry, sex, hunting, profanity, and other "dangerous" activities while women - adult and children alike - were kept sheltered. "Oh, but children don't know any better!" That's what they thought about females. Terrible isn't it? The purposeful sheltering of knowledge from a person you love.
You know what it is, Dave? It has nothing to do with innocence. Politeness. Or even integrity. It has everything to do with reflection. Parents are a vain sort, concerned almost as much with how their children reflect on them as much as they do how the child is raised. They are little extensions of the parent; not too far removed from, say, a car. An item. Our teachers in this forum probably just grinned in agreement.
And, to stay on topic, they did review that call and Tennessee won.

Boy, Boise sure is kicking themselves in the ass. We could be looking at a BCS like this:
1. Louisiana State
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Virginia Tech
5. Boise State
Had Boise State not lost, Oregon's loss would have likely impacted Louisiana State's schedule (and, presumably, Alabama's slightly; I can't be sure) and there wouldn't have been much space between the three.

So, PAC-10 people, is Oregon still improving? They're really coming into form now, huh? Just imagine what they could do with a rematch against Louisiana State in six weeks.

Baylor goes for it on 4th and 11 and gets it. Nice pass by Griffin, then next play TD.

Listening to Gus Johnson after a whole day of listening to the great college football announcers throughout the nation really spotlights how fucking awful he is.

Jimbo Fisher cut from the Les Miles time management cloth here.
And he catches a huge break by the incompletion.
He also gained some of the luck of the Mad Hatter.
