Crazy how's it's straight to it this year, but was after the AL star break before we saw each other last year.

Because so much of this game is just download, check for injuries and export. If this revamped coaching adds more to do and you can focus on developing areas of your system and it leads to guys actually developing in those areas than that is fucking awesome. If guys think "its OOTP so you know they fucked it up" then cool, don't mess with it. If guys like messing with it and thinks it helps then have at it and hopefully it does and you reap the rewards.

Exactly this. Right now it's just like you said, check for injuries, set lineups and export. I check the leader board probably once a game month.

This we can agree on. Even if Billy does coaches next year as a trial basis, I don't think it should be mandatory for the ones that don't want to use them. Nothing changes for them, they don't take the monetary hit and go on with OOTP just like they did the past couple of seasons

I guess we're back to just making blanket statements that we really cant verify.

1 - 99% sure you can't turn off coaches for one team or another. It's a league wide setting.

2 - It makes signing coaches 10x easier than it use to be. You can see who's good at what. I really like it.

3 - The coaching relationship is the stupid and annoying part of it IMO - but good news, that part can be turned off.

I think you guys will come to like it. It gets rid of the annoying parts of coaching before (not knowing if they were good at their job or not) and makes it pretty clear. Again though, the relationship system can die in a fire.

But you don't have to sign a coach if you don't want to if Billy goes that route. Yea, it'll be for every team to have them but they don't have to sign any. We had some teams with their minors full of coaches while others didn't have any coaches. I don't think it really affected anything in how the game was played/managed. I think it'll just be something for the few of us that want a little more immersion to get exactly that.

Yeah, I am not going to monitor all of that because its too much work. There will not be any fines or anything like that if guys don't sign coaches.

We should get rid of minor leagues while we’re at it. Lookin at some of your teams it’s clear y’all don’t even take care of that

Ahh I see what you mean. Ya I don't see harm in that....except I think it would affect players development. Something to test I guess.
