I almost pulled off the upset against TT. They got the last second field goal at the end of regulation to tie it up at 10-10 and send it to OT. We went to 4 OT's and TT's defense became ridiculuos in the 4th OT and I couldnt do a thing offensively. Final Score Texas Tech 29 - 26 WSSU.

The BCC Seahawks in their inaugural game pull off the massive upset of Bama in Tuscaloosa, 28-21.

The offense was on fire as they put up 438 yards against the vaunted Bama D and the 2 headed monster in the backfield stole the show.

Sophomore impact QB, Tyrell Dobzinski went 16/21 for 309 yards and 2 TDs in the win and his sidekick at RB super soph Isaiah Flynn rumbled for 125 yards on 19 carries and 2 TDs.

The Seahawks gave up some yards but got a huge pick before the half and held Bama to only 7 points after that.

Things dont get much easier for the Seahawks as they travel to Rutgers next week and are hoping to avoid the let down game.

This Bama fan couldnt believe what she just saw but decided to go get another hot dog to help her cope.

South Catholic wastes a perfect opportunity to move to 3-0 as they fall to the BoilerMakers 17-14. 4 times in the first half SCHS was in Purdue territory only to trail 14-0 at the break. How so you ask?? Turnovers and a poor kicker. Sean Burke fumbled on one of his 6 sacks and Purdue went up top next play for a 50 yard strike to open the scoring. Next possession, Burke is intercepted and King returns it for a 73 yard score. Burke would be intercepted again and thenlater, Duncan misses a 45 yard FG in the driving rain. Duncan would miss from 39 in the second half as well. Then to make matters worse, trailing 14-7 late in the game, needing a stop on 3rd and 4, SCHS is called for defensive encroachment (WITH EVERYTHING SET TO NORMAL!) to give Purdue a 1st down. Purdue puts together it's only drive of the game, drive consisting of 2 big passing plays, and adds an insurance FG. SCHS drives down to get a late TD but fails to get onside. Defense finally played well, holding Purdue to negative rushing and only 4 big passing plays that accounted for most of yardage, otherwise a bunch of 3 and outs. But offense struggled mightily. 6 sacks, 3 turnovers, 2 missed FG's, etc etc etc.

The Govs nearly pulled of a massive upset at Alabama. They got started on the right foot with a 96 yard kick return for a touchdown. Alabama evened the score shortly. The Govs added a field goal in the second quarter to take a 10-7 lead into the locker rooms. The Tide came out energized in the third quarter and on the first play from scrimmage scored on a long TD run. They would then add a FG to make it 17-10 at the end of the third quarter. The Peay was able to cut into the lead with a field goal early in the fourth. They then played some great defense and held the Tide offense in check. The Govs were able to mount a drive and eventually take the lead on a TD with only 2 minutes remaining. But that was too much time as the Tide was able to score a late TD and then kicked an insurance field goal with 10 seconds left to make the final score 27-20 in favor of the homestanding Crimson Tide.

Winston Salem State went into the Oklahoma State game expecting to get blown out. They proved themselves wrong. They took a 13-0 lead into halftime. Oklahoma State scored 10 points in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter but somehow WSSU was able to pull through and hold them to 0 the rest of the game and pull off the huge upset over #7 Ok St. Final Score 13-10.

Against #22 ranked Kansas the Marley Institute looked to be in trouble with a 17-0 deficit but a field goal at the half would put them with a touchdown. MIM brought it to within 7 on the ensuing drive of the second half. With under a minute remaining in the game Kansas would try for a field goal from just 23 yards out. Missing one already the Kansas kicker missed the 23 yarder and MIM scored two plays later on a 53 yarder as Kansas went all out blitz and the reciever was able to beat the corner to the sideline and score the game tying score. The two teams traded touchdowns into 2nd OT and Kansas's kicker just needed an XP to tie the game and force the third OT but he clanked it off the upright.

Steel City U started there conferance schedule with a 30-20 win over a tough Air Force Team. Steel City was down 20-16 at the half but managed a solid run game to keep the Air Force offense off of the field.

BCC stomps into Piscataway and dominated the Scarlet Knights, 31-0.

The game was played in a monsoon and the run game Isaiah Flynn was dominant again against a superior BCS opponent.

The Seahawks have surprised Bama and now Rutgers on the road to open the season.

As a D team, the other teams seem to just dominate me off the ball, regardless of what I pick. This is definitely going to be a multiple season build for SCLSU

South Catholic rebounds nicely with a 49-7 whipping over Idaho as they move to 3-1. Things looked great from the start as Sean Burke connected with Shaun Sullivan on SC's first play from scrimmage for a 70 yard score and the Rebels never looked back. Burke threw 4 TD's to lead the offense and MLB Anthony Weaver had 2 INT's to pace the D. Next up is Western Michigan before a bye.
