The problems are a real problem and much more problematic than just creating players. However, it isn't a x/12/13 thing, it is a database issue. Going back to '12 after being on '13 is brutal, the new version is sooooo much faster and responsive. And maybe the support crew will be more responsive as well lol.
I am nearing the end of my brutal stretch of work (Wednesday I am "off" but have a meeting and Thursday I am off) and so I will try and figure out what we are doing with the file.
