What is with these lightening delays?
I dont remember them ever happening in the past.

No, games have been stopped for lightning as early as the 60's.

Watching that 49ers/Seahawks game last night, it must be dowright awful for road teams in Seattle.

They were afraid that if they allowed ticket sales to max capacity the Mariners game that was going on at the same time would be completely empty.

I went to a high school game a few weeks ago that had 2 of them. Game took over 4 hours to play :lol:

Our high school game last friday got called mid 3rd quarter due to lightning as well.

back when i played we had a lightning delay. theres no worse feeling than taking wet equipment off, sitting around, and putting it back on. ugh.

I was there for that sitting in the Hawks Nest wich apparently is where the wild Sounder fans sit. The thunder clap ritual was amazing and so loud.

there is no chance he is worse than what I witnessed yesterday.

Chad Henne simply WOULD NOT throw it longer than 5 yards. He wasnt getting pressure that much.

I watch tons of NFL games, that was by far the worst offense i have ever scene. And in fairness, their defense is pretty solid
