This is almost as unwatchable as discussing politics.

The democrats toss up the softballs to get as much negative on Trump, the Republicans grill Comey to make Trump look better.

What was Trump's official reason for firing Corey?

Was that Trump and Trump alone's decision? Meaning, it didnt have to go to some panel or Congress to approve?

It was Trump's. Need approval to appoint but president fires. He has said multiple times in interviews he fired him because of his handling of Russia investigation. He said Sessions also recommended it but then the next day he said it was his call and that was why.

Exactly what I meant in how McCain's questioning is going. He is grasping here with his line of questions.

So much for this "independent council" and unbiased decision making coming from it.

Stinks to me.

- Was there any new or big new details we learned yesterday?

- What is the prevailing thought(not your individual view) on this, good or bad for Trump?

- What did the stock market do?

Nothing really Trump related that was new. Just got someone under oath saying Russia was undeniably involved in the election. Trump asked Comey to make the Flynn investagation go away but said it in a way that probably wouldn't pass the legal standard of obstruction of justice.

Lynch asked Comey to call the Hillary email thing a "matter" instead of a " investigation".

Good for Trump in the short term. Still lots of smoke but no fire yet for anything illegal just horrible looking politically.

In long term it gave the special prosecuter more rabbit holes to go in and see what turns up is what I've gathered from it all.

Forgetting anything there?

Maybe...
- Comey leaked information to the media to try to get a special committee against Trump?
- Comey's under oath timeline of when Trump tweeted and when he leaked to the media doesn't align with when each item happened?
- Comey directly stated that Trump was never under investigation

All about the slant that you want I suppose. How was the Dow?
