I wonder how much it really matters financially for them. Everyone saw that horse win the race. They can stud him out at a huge rate and will do fine. Having him go to the Preakness and lose or even get hurt will only hurt that.packsyd2284 wrote:"I am taking my horse and going home!!!!"Cnasty wrote:Looks like the owner is going to appeal the disqualification and not race in the Preakness either.

In an interview with the owner said he doesn't have a chance to win a triple crown so why bother? Sounds like #loserblood to me.

I really love the idea of going fishing and every time I do I am ready to commit suicide within 30 minutes. I don’t know why I fall for this shit every time (night fishing right now)

Ive never been fishing. I see the appeal, but would rather sit and drink beer in the middle of a nice lake than in the mucky weeds
Re: Random Discussions
fishing lakes and rivers is great if you're with some buddies and want to disconnect and have a few beers and just chill (thats just my experience, some dudes get real competitive fishing lakes too, i just never had that feeling)
fishing in the ocean is much more of an adrenaline rush trying to reel in monsters and then the bonus of having dinner for a few weeks after is nice too. i go out probably twice a month now and even dabble in some spear fishing now, its a lot more sport than it is relaxing.
i like them both and i never touched a fishing pole til college

Re: Random Discussions
I’ve actually always wanted to try the deep sea fishing and catch some monsters as it seems more my kind of thing but I have not gotten around to it. That is on my to do list when I get back to the states or if I go back to Thailand.
I wanted to do it in Maldives but they were asking like 1500 for a 6 hour trip for my wife and I. I am not sure what the going rate is but that seemed absurd and she wasn’t even that in to doing it

Any body bought a new mattress lately? Been exploring that option as it's time. There's some good deals out there on mattress in a box but I have some doubt about buying a mattress I haven't been able to at least lay down on and see how it feels. That said though, they're much cheaper than the stores. Currently comparing a Tempurpedic (from the store), a Casper or Nectar (both mattresses in a box). Want the adjustable frame as well.
Just seeing if anyone has any experience with any of these and can offer some input.

We were in this exact scenario about 2 months ago and hated the whole process. Narrowed it down to some of the online ones and was really concerned about reliability and such and not being able to lay on it.
We settled on a Tempurdic based on their history, reliability, and warranty. I kid you not, I have not slept better in my entire life. I have an Apple Watch sleep tracker and I have worn it for months to bed and its amazing to see my deep sleep almost triple from our old mattress.
I dont wake up with any soreness, not tired throughout the day and rarely ever wake up in the night.
Its pricey but for us it has completely changed our rest/sleep and what price do you put on that???
Great time to buy too as Memorial Day sales are going on. This is the one we got:

Re: Random Discussions
That's actually the same one we were looking at. They have the memory foam and the hybrid in that for the exact same price. My problem is the mattress (comes with 2 free pillows + mattress protector) + adjustable frame = $$$$ + a $300 gift card in return. The Nectar I've been looking at is $$ with all of that minus the gift card. Plus it's a 365 day trial period and lifetime warranty.

We looked at all the big online ones and were close on one of them, may have been Nectar or Casper cant remember.
Then we laid on this one and we bought it the same day. It just felt so damn good and conforms to your body.
Mattresses are a very personal thing firmness wise and such but I highly recommend checking these out in person.
