@KennedyMLB
#RedSox look like they will land John Farrell as manager from #BlueJays. Compensation talks getting serious, players will be headed to TOR.
Jays are reported asking for the Sox #1 pick from 2011, a pitcher from UConn

What a choke job by the cards.
They were never competitive at any point in the final 3 games.

I wouldn't count them out just yet... and honestly, they shouldn't have made it this far, so I'd suggest that this is more regression towards the mean

The Cards had the 2nd highest run differential in the NL, and the 4th highest in the MLB.

It's pretty self explanatory lol.
One of the best teams in MLB has been outscored 18-1 in the last 3 games. That's not regressing tothe mean. That's just having a bad run of games at the worst possible time.

I'm not disputing your stat, I'm just saying they shouldn't have made it this far. They had that flukiness in ATL, and then they were lucky to escape against Washington. They aren't a bad team, I just don't feel that they should be here now. But, they never have the flashy/special team, they just play well and get hot late. Whatever gets it done

Congrats on the comeback plasma. Your guys earned. Clutch pitching after going down 3-1. Wish your team the best of luck against the Tigers. Rep the NL well!
On a sidenote, living with 3 Giant fans has made this a long week. NBA please.

the only thing i can think of is they are starting him cause its vs Verlander and they dont wanna waste a better arm, or hes having a great playoffs cause his season numbers are average (4.15era, 1.35 WHIP, low strike outs)
