he addressed this on his twitter. him and vick are friends and the gloves are for his 3 year old nephew

its not as if he was doing it to hang up in his house.

soccer players share jerseys, baseball players send clubhouse guys with autograph/souvenier requests all the time and i'm sure similar stuff happens in basketball and football too.

he just happened to do it on the field in front of cameras

holy shit is minnesota terrible, what a boring ass game to sit through. trendon you would of lost it when they are down 18 with a minute left in the 3rd, 4th and 3 or something at the 37ish and they punt it. just a weird atmosphere too with it being 90% lions fans and we turned on the other teams real quick. there was more lets go lions chants than at real lions games. what a shitty day capped off by witnessing these 2 shitty teams, oh and fuck border patrol.

lol the border is funny. Going to the states I tripped balls cause I left dime bags in my backpack (nothing in them) and there was a fuckin' sniff dog whatever there. And on the way back I could of loaded a gun in my bag and not got caught that's how much the Canadian border didn't give a shit lol.

haha exactly, going into canada is ridiculously easy, they pretty much let anyone that wants to come in. coming back you got the douchebags that were too big of douchebags to be cops so they think they are top shit. they thought we were smuggling drugs and we got the works done to us for 45 minutes.

Jets coach Sal Alosi's devious act was not a coincidence

Sal Alosi, the New York Jets coach who tripped Miami player Nolan Carroll(notes) in the third quarter of the Dolphins’ 10-6 win last Sunday, didn't "just happen" to be there.

The Jets have discovered that he strategically ordered players to "form a wall" in that specific place, and have now changed Alosi's suspension from "rest of the season" to "indefinite." Here's the play:

If you'll take his word for it, Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said today that neither head coach Rex Ryan or special teams coach Mike Westhoff were involved in the plan.

“As we continued our investigation, we discovered some new information,” Tannenbaum said in a conference call from the NFL owners meetings in Dallas, “and the players at the Miami game were instructed by Sal to stand where they were to force the gunner in the game to run around them.”

To force the gunner to run around them, or to give them an opportunity to trip the gunner? It seems a little unlikely that the gunner would go all the way around them. Tripping him, as we all saw on Sunday, isn't all that far-fetched. That actually happened.

Tight end Jeff Cumberland(notes), who was inactive Sunday, said it was nothing new for the players to line up next to each other as they did against the Dolphins, according to AP.

"Since the beginning of the year, we’ve been instructed to line up behind the (white) line,” he said, adding that it was only Alosi who has told them to do so."

As far as further punishment goes, Tannenbaum says the Jets are still gathering information and that "all options are on the table." A lot of people felt like Alosi should've been fired for acting so recklessly to begin with. Now that there's evidence pointing to this being a premeditated plan, things seem even worse.

The Jets interviewed the players who were standing near Alosi, but will not take any action against them. “This is just about Sal,” Tannenbaum said.

Shannahan says Mcnabbs is benched for the last 2 games. I think his days in Washington are over. I believe that he was in a 5 year contract, but with a clause that the skins could cut him at the end of the 1st season with no further obligation (not sure about that). The biggest problem with them is their owner and unfortunately he can't be fired. They will probably go after Farve for next season.
