Long line of Alabama busts at rb. Sure it's early but he will join the club.

Musso, Olglevy, Sherman Williams, Glen Coffey, etc
When Tony Nathan is in the Top 3 Alabama HBs in the NFL, you have busts. And that's just off the top of my head. How did Darby and Stacy do? You could argue Bobby Humprhrey, when was he drafted? On and on. Back to GTA

Don't forget Glenn Coffee retired after 1 season.
Edit: Just saw Trendon mentioned him above me.

OK, so some of the guys (like Stacy) weren't drafted. So, we have to decide what we are talking about:
Are Alabama HB's mostly busts or are they just not NFL material?

Based on our lists a little of both

Well, forgive me, Stacy drafted in 2nd round and never touched the football before going off to the CFL.

Bama doesn't produce great NFL running backs historically. But listing rbs drafted late by teams aren't busts in my book. Just not good.

I sort of agree.
Alexander
Humphries
Ingram
All pretty hyped, no?
Richardson is way to early so maybe he canbreak the mold as well as Eddie Lacy.

Darby 7 th round pick. Lucky to make a roster.
Siran had knee issues and a thug. Bust since he was drafted high
My thinking is in line with trendon. Bust or not NFL material. Bust to me are 1st and 2nd round guys.

Richardson had a better rookie year than Ricky Williams, so Yea, he isn't officially done yet lol.
It's not necessarily a bad move now if the Browns feel he can't get it done. It's just that giving up on a top 5 pick already shows the ineptitude for taking him just a year ago. Didn't they also trade up for him? Just make it worse.

Alexander was a league MVP, multiple all pro. almost 10 k rusher 100 tds. Not a bust
Humphrey rushed for 1100 yards rookie year, held out and shit bed. Bust since first round. Promising start but bad
Ingram is shit.

This is fascinating to me.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Al ... _NFL_Draft
Alexander: 1/19; possible NFL Hall of Famer
Humphrey: 1/3; not a bust but flamed out after two great seasons due to contract fight)
Darby: 7/246; not a bust
Ingram: 1/28; bust
Richardson: 1/3; potential bust
Riddle: undrafted
Sherman Williams: 2/46, arguable bust.
Lacy: TBD
Shaud Williams: undrafted
Ricky Moore: 3/75; never even heard of this guy. 126 NFL yards in three seasons.
Coffee: 3/74, not a bust because he wasn't touted highly even at Bama
Stacy: 2/48, maybe a bust. Drafted high but not terribly touted in college despite two year success
Ogilvie: Drafted in 12th round
It is just an amazing group of great college halfbacks that didn't have NFL careers. I'd side with Biffy's statement: they just weren't "good" to begin with. best NFL RB's from Bama?
1. Alexander
2. Nathan
3. Humphrey
Terrible list. I think Nebraska QBs are better!

The Browns are covering their fuckup by allowing Indy the opportunity to do the same. You don't draft running backs in the Top 10 anymore, maybe not even Top 20. You draft QBs and linemen in this NFL.

That he was. He has Lou Gehrig's disease. Good documentary if you got time on his battle.
