It surpassed the record that stood since the beginning of our existence and we didn't make much of a hoopla about it!

It's like Dimaggio's streak being broken and nothin!
Not nothin...not quite.

For as much as I bring up Olson's 2010 record when someone comes close to breaking it, even I didn't even notice it was broken for a few sims until the new owner mentioned it about a month ago:

Wait, what?

Bill Olson from Sheltown originally held that record, since 2010. It was likely the oldest standing record in the league.

Then no one really replied to that, so yea, pretty darn close to nothin.

The Boston Minutemen can take all the blame for this season being much quieter than seasons past.

See you fellas in the offseason!

I am always happy when a first time winner experiences that feeling. Look what it has done for Dave.

It has inspired him to run the Boston Marathon!

115 wins or more has happened 11 times in our league. It only produced 2 titles.

I am confident in our fellas but I also know the game plays to wild cards more than #1 seeds. :)

The 1 seed didn't help last year and I lost two blues in the final month. I have been resting two starters a game to try and stay healthy this time around. I don't care what seed I am, just no injuries!!!!!!

It's nothing personal, I just think they have taken the wind out of the sails of alot of teams about 20 pages earlier than the last several seasons.

The back and forth is minimal. Reign bounced, guys are talking football sims, Niddler saying he'd rather have 20 board/game active players than 30 active exporters. Just the timing of all this sucks with your 120 win team.

Sure, certain factors like Shel being horrible have cost us about 8 pages of back and forth with him and Nick. Haven't seen much of NE this season, Ted hasn't been around as much either. It's Christmas so it's all understandable. Maybe I'm just sour because my joke of a team continues to underperform, but then again, maybe what I'm saying makes some sense. I hope not. I hope these new owners will continue to contribute and push us all forward. Only time will tell

I'm always around. I basically live on the boards. But I'm sensitive so I don't dish out as much lol.

Hmmmmmmm, ok.

It definitely has been quieter than normal that is for sure and think a lot of that is where certain teams are as you have mentioned.

I guess I should trade my team away for immersion.

While we're on the subject, also could have been a Sheltowner.

We gave Sheltown a commemorative championship ring in 2041 with the acquisitions of Jamison and Miggy.

If we win this year with O'Connor, Jenkins, Lee, Turner, Mori etc etc we may build a suite named after him.
