Portland, LA and Toronto are out of the running (like how i put Toronto? lol), so its probably SA's to lose, but I also saw that Miami is making a push.

Woj reported that Aldridge has granted LA a 2nd visit, but I'm guessing it's still unlikely.

Yes, he's a 4. I just don't see how Miami can do it, but if anyone can, it's the Godfather!

Was posted locally a few days ago, but it's gonna be on SportsCenter tonight

Nerlens Noel had a camp here locally, and a kid was talking smack to him. So he crossed him over, broke his ankles, and dunked on him. (video below)

Then later blocked the same kid in a game of Knockout. While it was funny, it was the reaction of another kid in the game that was absolutely hilarious (I'll post video when I get home)

There is only 1 ball so while i agree they should go for it if they can but after you have 2 or 3 'high usage' guys the benefits of adding another aren't as great as you'd expect.

you're sacrificing a bench for a player who might not add as much value as you'd normally expect from someone as good as LMA

That's what they did for LeBron bosh and wade. Aldridge isn't LeBron and that lineup would be funky with bosh Aldridge and Whiteside and no bench.

I hear ya but you go load up 3 studs, some cheap shooters and you go for it in the weak east I say.

they already have their 'big 3' with Dragic/Wade/Bosh.

Dragic isn't far off from Aldridge and is absolutely a 'stud'.

the 4th guy doesn't help that much as crazy as that sounds. the whole 'cheap shooters' route only works when you have a Shaq/Lebron type who wants to dominate the ball near the basket, it doesn't work as well with Bosh/Aldridge. You'd actually prefer getting guys like Deng or slashers who can defend really well. Bosh/Aldridge already spread the floor so you don't need shooters to spread it anymore. the Heat do need some real outside shooting threat tho, hopefully this is enough that Ray comes back, which i expect he will.

I hear ya. Just when you have a shot at a talent like Aldridge it's tough not to consider a mock deal of the guys you mentioned and not going for that. Hypothetical I know but you do that deal in a heartbeat and make it work other ways and moves if needed.

Toronto reportedly gave him a nice presentation but I doubt he comes to Canada. LA both times fucked up (reportedly) and Miami apparently has a "sign 1 yr and we will max u next yr" approach which I doubt any player would do.
