Son of a bitch.....we got a nice series coming up I'd like to see a 3-1 record there. Its a long season just hope to keep a float until some of my players get back from injury. There are a lot of teams within striking range should be a good season.

Bitter sweet week for the Aces. We go 5-1 which is fantastic, brings our record to 35-33, 3.5 out of a wild card spot. However in a game in which we beat Albany 18-0 we also lose star catcher Bill McMinn for 5-6 weeks, 3B Francisco Martinez and 2B Todd Walker all while running the bases in the rout victory. Also of note in the 18-0 game, 13 of those runs came in the 5th inning.

Still seems there are land mines on some fields as the "while running the bases" injuries are still huge and frequent.

Here in Cleveland, we have patches of ice covered in a dusting of dirt that players slip on. We pay the bench coach to go strategically place these icy spots 4 hours before game time.

turn down your base running aggressiveness. It affects injuries.

I think that rookie from Cincy stole all of Nick Cross's homerun power.
Cross hasn't hit a homer in 21 games.

Minor issue this morning... internet was down when I left the house. Apparently below 0 temps and ice build up can cause problem with cable lines... who knew???

ETA per cable company, 2hrs. Crew on-site/dispatched. My wife has an office @ home, so the computer will be up and running as soon as the internet is.
