Wait, I know. Baltimore last season.

Randy Moss
Sam Aiken
Julian Edelman
Down 21-0 almost immediately

Brees would have thrown sixteen picks.

I'm sorry if I don't have passer ratings on the top of my head. I was too busy marveling at the Patriots lack of run defense in that game to focus on Tom Brady's inability to create an offense out of thin air with three guys on Moss and six on his back.

He is still better NOW. And Manning, too. I'll even consider Rivers.

Seriously?

So the fact that Brees outproduces at least 3 of them over a 2 year span and is the only with a title means nothing to you?

I mean, honestly, what NFL are you watching if you think Brees is the 4th best QB in the NFL?

How can you even remotely think Brady is better than Brees NOW is beyond me. Like I said, come join us in 2010. Brady hasn't been on Brees's level for 2+ seasons. If he has, I would absolutely LOVE to hear you explain how.

Not to mention the offense has led the league in points and yards 2 straight seasons.

Not Peyton, or Brady, or Rivers' offense by the way.

Guess that means nothing, lol.

Brees and Brady are system QBs. Amazing QB's but system ones.

Peyton is G.O.A.T

Sorry, you're not allowed in this debate with ridiculous logic like that.

Brees and Brady are "system" QBs.

GOLD!!!

And GOAT has ZERO to do with who is better right now.

I've got to talk shit three times to stupid Jets fans. When your team's QB allows you to do that, then you can talk.

Patriots ... second greatest team (of a decade) since the 49ers.

I have no idea what you're talking about with the Jets, who I couldn't care less about, lol.

And there is so much wrong with the "Patriots greatest of the decade" argument.

First, that is a TEAM accomplishment. Does that mean Tedy Bruschi is better than Ray Lewis??? it sure does. Ha!

Second, that, again, means NOTHING about who is better right now? Titles won in 2001 and 2002 have no bearing whatsoever on who is better 8 years later. I don't get why that concept is sooooooo hard to grasp.

If anyone EVER needed a reason to not listen to ESPN analyst's that are former pro players, look no further than the aforementioned Tedy Bruschi who gave us this gem a few minutes ago on ESPN:

"The saints had to beat the vikings tonight to validate their championship last year."

Yea, THAT just happened. I think he's been hit in the head one too many times.

I'm not gonna bicker Brees/Brady, but let's make sure we aren't putting Brees on Manning's level.

I d take Manning over the 3. But all 3 are great. As for the game last night, I thought Farve looked tired as hell.

Manning
Best there is!
Best there was.
Best there ever will be?

Bret Hart would be proud.

Favre took some serious knocks... I wonder if he was 'lovin' the game' when he was getting plowed into his own tackle? Looked like a ragdoll when he get hit. Too funny.

Why not?

Again, we're not talking about careers, we all know who has the better career.

But the past 2 seasons, why is Brees not on Manning's level again? Just give me ONE reason.

- He has a ring, which we now means a LOT to you, those rings, LOL.
- More TD passes
- Same amount of INTs
Higher Completion %
- Set the all time record for completion % last year
- Higher yards per attempt
- More yards passing
- BOTH seasons NO has led the league in points AND yards

Now, you're telling me Brees "isn't on Manning's level"?

And that means that you are implying that Brady isn't on Manning's level? LOL! Brady has proven that he can win with strawmen; let's see Manning or Brees pull that shit off. Even further, he shit all over whatever Manning & Brees stats you want to throw up here when given the talent. So, you can go on and on about who is #1 and I'll merely disagree, but if you say "level" ... well, you're insane.
