The bye is best taken as early as possible. The general rule to survival is to take the surest thing you can get early. People who get cute early are often burned. Now New England losing to Arizona at home is insane, it killed probably more survival pool picks than any other game in recent memory.

Byes are best used early because you just don't know what is going to happen this early in the season, we are just finding out who is good and who isn't. No game jumps out at me for week 3, so I am taking it.

I know guys who literally just take the largest spread game available to them every week and those guys will almost always make it to week 6-7 at least. Vegas is usually right. According to that, the best pick is Chicago followed by New Orleans

St.Louis is upsetting. Chicagos OLine is pathetic and St.Louis' best place is their Dline
