I just got home, so didn't get back in time to set up anything on FD for tonight.
I entered 2 for tomorrow though and will edit my lineup if/when my Basketball Monster membership gets updated.

Last night was my first night depositing a very small amount on DK.

- 4-0 in H2H
- 2nd out of 50 in a 50/50
- 1st out of 30 in a Triple Up
- 2 entries into a GPP with 2300 entries, finished 28th and 55th
- Freeroll, granted it only paid the top 5, but I finished 19th out of 4740

Heck of a day!

Yeah, I am loving this because I have shown 200% ROI without any fucking thought whatsoever. At one point in time, I was winning a 1,330-man contest before one bad mistake (Papanikolaou) sunk me.

Unfortunately, even though I played 8 games it was only $10. But I had a profit last night of exactly $20.

I'm loving the GPPs...even if I don't ever make anything off of it, i'll just do lower dollar stuff so it's more just for fun.

Reign, I was curious to get your thoughts on just how accurate the projected points are on BM, on a large scale sample size.

Reason why I ask, even as good as i did above, I scored 230 and 235 as i used only 2 different lineups, but both lineups projected me out at 264 and 268. The guy that won the entire 2300 person tourney scored 251, so I was wondering if BM's projected points totals are usually a little high.

I'm just trying to gauge what, on average, it takes to win at H2H, 50/50 or to hit the money on various GPPs, but it isn't so helpful if the projected points are overstated.

By the way, after last night's slim schedule and two other attempts at doing late night contests, I can totally see merit in Reign's recommendation that you get a steady diet of late night tilts. It seems that if you follow BM and join larger, late night contests - like GPP, large-scale 50% wins, etc - you are insulated from the pros and other people who are just listening to BM. I don't think I have lost a single contest where there is a large amount of winners and I am assuming it is because I have tools to almost always beat the newbies/cheap/lazy.

Now, I just need to get lucky one day and yank down a $10,000 prize. I wish I screen-capped my CURRENTLY WINNING box on DK when it said $4,000 or so going into the second quarter of the late game.

I'll tell ya, it was fucking exhilarating seeing me winning a 1,330-man contest pretty late.

LOL, Morris and Copeland are, like, my favorite players in the NBA now. That is up fro ZERO favorite players from a week ago.

its super early but use NBA Per and look at usage rate. Some players are getting some ridiculous numbers early and will go down, but you can see whos involved in the plays more often.

It was the freeroll, but for a bit I was 2nd place out of 4740 last night.

Sloan
Lowry
Bledsoe
Butler
Hayward
Copeland
Davies
Gibson
Vucevic

i just read that Noah is playing so i might switch it up with Gibson getting less run

As for BM projections... I think they tend to overrate the sleeper plays and are pretty consistent on most of the main players. Which kind of makes sense. You do need to take the time to check their projections against box scores about once a week or so. I remember a specific run that they had on Demarcus Cousins where he was projecting consistently as the top center at 24pts 13rebs a game... when he was in a slump and arguing with his coach... yeah, not close.
