I want the good scouts back. And how do you rate a scout as being good with 0 years experience?

But then again, with all the trading I've done this off season, I probably don't want to hire a new scout just to have him dash my hopes

I love my scout, just gave him an extension.

But he's 66 years old, I'm so worried about the old fella!!!

Two guys on there have some really great scout ratings across the board, but want to be Asst. GM's. Every so often I'll go offer them a contract but I always get the "I don't want to be a scout" response. IT"S BEEN A YEAR GUYS!!! Don't you need a freaking job!

Because in case you didn't know new to OOTP '17 is a feature where certain players won't negotiate because of your manager, which just makes having managers that much worse, as that's entirely unrealistic.

Unless you can name me all of the instances where that player turned down that $150mil extension because of the team's manager.

I was simply asking because I know you were lobbying to get rid of managers, so I was curious why you would want a "better" manager if you think they are a waste of time.

They are a waste of time.

So, if they are a waste of time, why would you feel you need an upgrade?
Any ole manager should do then.
There should be no need to upgrade if one has no impact over the other.

And I completely disagree that it is unrealistic.
You don't think in the major leagues, in real life, there are players that do not go to a team or will not talk to a team because they do not like the manager?

Name me all of the examples. This day in age where so much info comes out, if that happened and the guy left the team, we would have known about it in some instances, 100%. And again, not even talking about not resigning, I'm talking about not even negotiating. I'm certain that's never happened before for a player in similar situations to those I've seen.

You really think a player is going to turn down negotiating for tens of millions of dollars with 3 more years under team control for $10-15mil?

Yes, in my opinion, this happens more than we hear about.
But that is my opinion. So we will leave it at that.
Just because we don't hear about it, doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.

that's pretty good. Sheltown is by fair the shadiest/most corrupt place in the league.
