I claimed Don Douglas off of waivers when I was around 4 games back of the wildcard, just in case I made some miracle run and Douglas decided to relive is 2012 days over again lol.

He was only due around $700K or so for the remainder of 2018 so it was a cheap investment...or so I thought. He had a team option of $3.4mil for 2019, and I had no intention of exercising that, obviously.

What I didn't realize...he has a $2mil buyout. $2mil down the drain simply because I didn't look at his contract fully.
