Looking at the Polar Bears, pitching and defense is apparently the way to build a team. We'll see if it translates the rest of the season and post season. I don't really have any offensive all stars. Maybe Graham, but he is slowing just a little. Bolton hits homeruns a bit, Brown is getting on base. We are scoring runs, but I never see the same guys doing it sim after sim. Pitching has been on, and that is without Daniels, probably my best reliever.
Sweep of Omaha and 2 of 3 from New York.
Interesting boxscore in opener vs. NY.

Colvin starts, goes 0 innings, gives up 1 hit a walk and 2 runs and gets yanked. Only runs given up by the Launch.

nothing ends a losing streak like facing Port Orange...
5-20 in June, taking 2 of 3 from PO

.. 4-2 against them on the season

You are 1st in runs scored, your offense is good too.

Orlando Franco, who I got from Shel, is going to be a monster. sucks vs lefties by kills righties. 370/443/656 vs righties in AAA. He'll be making his Martians debut next season

It was tough giving him up, he does look like he'll be good.
Vazquez is killing it this year though, so the trade is paying off at the moment.

I know, I should look into it, but they don't seem like they should be. I'm guessing they are great with runners in scoring position.

definitely. Franco would be much higher if he had base running speed, about the "only thing holding him back" .. oh and he cant hit lefty pitching to save his life. Hes my digital version of Colby Rasmus

Coincidentally, Vazquez can't hit lefties either, he's so bad for his career against lefties.

I was just thinking that same thing AJ.
We need to get Reign some time to get one of us trained to help run things. Would be nice to have a sim or two on these slow weekends now that football is not on.

5 no hitters already this year and 4 one hitters. Granted one or two of the one hitters were 8+ IPs performance.
still crazy, its not even the As break
