But yeah, they fucked this one up
All I needed to hear
I don't believe it's as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I don't think small businesses should go under because of this, nor should beaches be closed. If they actually had the ability to test everyone, I bet the numbers would be high as hell. The wife and I had the symptoms, we just chalked it up as the flu (most likely was, but who knows). What if all these people with the worst case of flu in their lives actually had this? Where do the numbers lay when it comes to the elderly and the flu, mortality rate? Maybe I'm still pissed I have to decide when and where I can shit because of lack of TP supplies in the house
It is truly crazy to see how that country has shut down and the numbers exploding. Very specific items there going on though with their lifestyles and older population.
I am somewhere in the middle but honestly not sure where that middle is anymore and i am kind of biased having never been afraid of anything having worked in emergency rooms and hospitals for 20 years or so now.
Lol the toilet paper argument. Are you folks Neanderthals? Do you have violent** diahhrea? You need 2-3 pieces to wipe your ass and if not jump in the shower...
Unless China is completely lying about everything, in 2 months time they are no longer seeing new cases (fewer than 20 per day). So I don't know why the US would take 6-18 months to reach the same result.

Their government can whip citizens into shape a heck of a lot safer than the US can.
Their government, for all their faults, is probably handling this a heck of a lot better than we are.
But I do agree, botched or not, this will die down soon ish.

It’s because China has completely locked down Wuhan and other areas. To draconian levels and that is simply unsustainable.

@Shel... Franklin County in Ohio just announced that they have a 2yr old that tested positive.
Who knows what'll actually happen to said 2 year old, but based on the data, that 2 year old would be more at risk of serious illness or death if he/she had the common flu.
My posts weren't to say people my age and kids are not at risk of infection, just that we're at zero risk or whatever the lowest risk possible is of death, unlike an actual chance of death with the common flu.
