That's why your suppose to run clock on offense when up big, but really what I think the conversation is about using it as standard method. I don't care for it in any situation, but if you are up big I have no issue with it.

Same here

Again, it's one thing if you're up 30 and trying to run out the game. Or if you need to use it once in a while because the wife wants you to hurry.

It's another when you're super simming defense because you're wanting to make sure you win and you can't stop the CPU offense on your own, so you use it as your primary method. That's lame and (to me at least) the coward's way out

I really don't care what Jason has to say about anything...at all. I super Sim D cuz I am tired of CPU QBs going 30-35 with the 5 incompletions being throw always while he is still in the pocket...

I play this game cuz I love playing. I love playing user games cuz there is no roboQB. But I can't stand playing the CPU for that reason.

Now, if the league wants to put a stop it, plz let me know and I will stop. But trust me, I will not stop cuz a whiny complainer says so...

I love how you ignore the fact that Pengy said the same thing

And the rest of us face those same "robo QBs" and we find a way to deal with it. Like I said.... "win at all costs"

I am back playing with UNLV now, and there should not be a rule for super simming. Because some guys have families and jobs, and sometimes, something unexpectedly happens like the wife wanting to go out asap. We can argue with the wife, but everyone who has a wife knows it will drag out into nonsense, therefore super simming may be the only alternative to end the game. I actually think it is up to Randawg if he wants to sim the game he bought. We are possibly the only NDLers' playing this game still, and we are still trying to Police it. When we play each other, we are playing each other with respect, and that is all that matters in my opinion. Sim if you do, sim if you don't!

IMO, if you're super simming D when up big then you should be simming the entire game. That is offensive stat padding in my eyes.

I agree with BR in the post above. There's a limited number of us left playing this game and I don't see a reason to run anyone off by putting any more rules in than necessary.

With that said, the one thing that infuriates the hell out of me is stat padding. If you want to sim, that's up to you. If you're numbers start getting ridiculous you better figure something else out. My recommendation for anyone super simming is do it in moderation.

So, because Pengy agrees with you, that automatically makes you right no matter what anyone else says? Just because you and Pengy may be the best in this OD, doesn't make you two the decision makers. I hate how you two try to police everything and make rules. Just let everyone enjoy the game the way they want to.

This makes the most sense I think.

I was wondering why the other sim league felt so much better 5 weeks in. then I realized jason and penguin arent in it.

Im gonna throw my game on AP for my matchup vs Pengjuin next sim. got better things to do then face someone who devotes his life to this game that he has to argue something as irrelevant as super sim d

I guess we are wired very differently, it's not something I turn on or off. I don't lose sleeping over trying for perfection, but it's always the goal.

If it's irrelevant to let the computer do something for you because you're not good enough to do it yourself, then that's your viewpoint.

Like I said, I've no problem with someone using supersim because of time, wife, etc (Blackrain's reasoning makes sense). But to say you won't use it because "oh, this week I'm playing Auburn and they're ranked #5 so I'm gonna supersim" is pure chickensh*t

It's not banned, so do whatever....

And @ Whitness, my point wasn't that Pengy agreed so that means I'm right--my point was that Randawg, as he often does, ignores the facts he wants to.

i run super sim d to speed the game up. I can assure you i dont win at all cost. in fact, i would go as far to say if I ever won the NC I'd probably end up leaving right after cause I would get bored of it.

Nick, that's fine. Nobody is saying that about your reasoning. And I think we all know you aren't WAAC
