My father in law just sent me a FB message with a pic that says if you gargle water with salt or vinegar, it eliminates Coronavirus.

I don't believe that (gargle part), but since last week the administration has done infinitely better (wasn't hard to get better from where they started) so that would put me in the 55%. I think the daily press conferences and informing the public has been a big help as well.

So defunding the CDC, closing down the pandemic relief team, and then babbling like an idiot for 2 months while we should have been preparing for all this and you now are in the 55% approval side because of the last week. Whatever happens to humans we certainly deserve it.

I think its been worse honestly. They look like a bumbling group of idiots. I only listen to the doctor really at this point as he has gone rogue from Trump.

Trump needs to stop addressing scientific questions and pass that to others.

He contradicts himself every single day which makes these almost meaningless and a mixed message each time one occurs.

C'mon Billy, did you read what I said? I said since last week they have done infinitely better. That is all. If you don't think they have handled it much better since before last week then you are probably in the group that would be pissed if his team cured cancer. I didn't say they have this on the downward slope, just better messaging from the beginning.

Agree, he needs to let the people behind him talk more. I didn't get to watch the press conference today, except for the last 30 minutes, and mostly it was not him talking.

I was cringing as it started, but they actually acted normal, and so far it's a fantastic interview because they're asking the types of questions we would ask from our limited knowledge of all of this. It's great stuff so far. It's the 3/18 podcast.

Did you read what the poll said? If someone handles something as poorly as you possibly can for a long period of time and then waaaaay too late finally starts to act then they handled the response terribly.

Fauci has been a rockstar in all of this and the only person with any reputable, honest feedback during this versus the political overstatements from this White House.

It took a virus like this to really show the operational shortcomings of Trump and his lack of knowing what the hell he is doing. Been rough to watch as his riled up statements and fiery rallies to his supporters cant heal science and data which is exposing him big time.

This is where people don't understand why he was elected in the first place (and possibly will be reelected). He was elected because he wasn't Hillary, he'll get reelected because he isn't Joe, especially if Joe Bidden moves further left to try and shore up the Bernie supporters.

1. Trump's response has been infinitely better this week. He scored a 0 for his response before this week. Infinity x 0 = ...
2. Things would be substantially better if the press conferences were just Fauci and Pence. It's nuts to admit, but I'd love Pence on the TV each day - in this instance he's measured, calm, and (god help us) reassuring. Whenever he is up there speaking, I have to laugh at Trump, who looks like he is doing an imitation of Baldwin doing an imitation of him on SNL. It's unreal.
