I've heard good things about Cub Cadet, but don't own/have no need for a riding mower myself.

Go Husqvarna. They're great mowers and last. Had one for years.
My dad has owned Cub Cadet and Kubota for years, so that is why I have a Kubota now and thinking about Cub Cadet for zero turn.
Just talked to a dealer near me that sells both models I was looking at, the Husqvarna Z254F and the Cub Cadet ZT150 and he told me that the ZT150 is new this year and Cub Cadet invested millions to redesign their zero turns and you can't beat it for the same price. He would recommend the Cub Cadet 100 out of 100 times.
You get more features with the Cub Cadet. Headlights, arm rests and the Husqvarna has 6 mower deck levels numbered 1-6.
The cub Cadet has 15 settings from 1' to 4 1/2".
Adjusting the arm bars are easily adjustable and some other features he mentioned.
So we will see what I decide in the end. I am looking for used ones too. we will see.

There are a lot of contractors here that do lawn work. Is that the case around you? If find out what they use as well, they aren't going to buy something that is always in the shop getting repaired. Not sure of your timeline of purchasing but I will look out here to see what most have

We might have 2-4 inches of snow on the ground right now. And it's supposed to be 68 degrees on Saturday

We live in the country, most people have their own tractor. Kubotas and John Deere are popular.
As far as contractors, not too many around these parts, but 2 of them are good buddies of mine.
1 is a best friend, known each other since we are 5 and the other is our HS football coach.
They and most contractors use commercial lawn mowers.
Not looking to spend $10,000 to $15,000 on a lawn tractor.
