I posted that in a diff thread...my bad. If it doesn't work for you I can go on AP and you can decide to play it or not. text me 9188109311 and lets see if we can make it work though.So......I'm at a trade show in Philly. Show hours are 4-7 every night until TUES. Dinner and drinks with clients follow each day. That only leaves me mornings to get the game in. Are you able to play in the mornings
Re: Twist OD - Y3 Week 6 (6/2)
GG Tfan, you forced me into a lot of mistakes. Knocking my RB out of the game didnt help me much either. GL the rest of the way.

Re: Twist OD - Y3 Week 6 (6/2)
Oregon defeats Florida in a rainy game at Autzen Stadium by a score of 49-34. Big plays, broken tackles and To's were the story of the game as the ducks capitalized on 4 interceptions on the day. Florida RB, and Heisman contender, Matt Jones was knocked in the second quarter with a concussion and that seemed to slow down the nations most potent rushing attack even though the Gators ran for 244 on the Ducks.
Marcus Mariotta managed to throw for 406and 4 tds on just 22 atempts. He also added a TD on the ground. Byron Marshall ran for 128 and 2 scores as well to keep the defense from keying in solely on the pass. Overall it was a competitive game and the Ducks now look on to the remainder of the schedule with their tougher games out of the way as the remaining teams have a combined 14- 14 record.
GG UF, that was a fun one. thanks for getting it in this morning.

Re: Twist OD - Y3 Week 6 (6/2)
Hart & nick - advance is tomorrow morning. I usually knock it out around 8am CST.
For those that have played, what were your thoughts on the sliders?
To me, seemed like my defense was much better but the CPU defense was worse or at a minimum the same as before changes were made. Running seemed pretty easy too. Think anyone who touched the ball for me running wise had at least a 5 YPC average. Most were around 8 YPC though.
My opinion would be to bump up the CPU defensive sliders and also lower the USER offensive sliders. To what I'm not exactly sure. Would like to see what some of you guys say.

I didn't play this week, so if you don't mind keeping them and letting me get a sample so I can give some input, please.

Another option would be to copy the sliders and play an offline game, just saying...

Re: Twist OD - Y3 Week 6 (6/2)
I'd raise them for the cpu defense only at this point, I think the user defense was improved and bring the cpu up a bit will give it more balance.

I played a user game so it was hard to tell. Im on a bye next week so I wont be much help. Still, I would probably say bump up the CPU defense for sure.fsupenguin wrote:I'd raise them for the cpu defense only at this point, I think the user defense was improved and bring the cpu up a bit will give it more balance.

Still not much better. CPU pass defense was bumped up from 65 to 80,rush defense from 0 to 50. Will make adjustments again.

Good point. Even though Nebraska wasn't ranked, they were still a 94 overall.Hart4Heisman wrote:hey guys sorry i didnt get this weeks game in, i've been getting killed with work. I'll try to get my game in for this advance played tomorrow night.
what i noticed with the sliders was that the closely rated teams, played very close games. maybe i just suck because i havent been playing NCAA a lot recently

I'm not knocking on your sliders at all. The defense for the USER is definitely much better. We'll just have to keep fine tuning the CPU defense to get it where we need it.

Re: Twist OD - Y3 Week 7 (6/6)
Four games guys, let's get 'em knocked out.
Re: Twist OD - Y3 Week 7 (6/6)
These sliders are nice for the most part, except for CPU pass defense. This felt like an old NCAA game where the CPU defense was superhuman--LBs jumping 10 feet into the air to intercept passes, DBs running routes before the wideouts do, unblockable DL. The defense could rush three and I could have six blocking, and I'd still get less than three seconds to throw the ball.
Threw six interceptions in the game, only two of which were bad throws. The other four were DBs running the routes, or making insane superhuman plays. The CPU offense was not as bad as in the past but the defense....jeez. Now rush defense wasn't bad, it was pretty spot on where it should be. If I didn't call the right play, it got blown up. But passing....it's absurd how good the defensive secondary/LBs were at covering and reacting.
That said I won thanks to one of the most boneheaded things I've ever seen the CPU do. UK got the ball with a minute to go in a tie game, got to their 40 with about 40 seconds left, ran hurry up, tried to get me to jump offsides....and then did nothing. Let it go down to 2 on the playclock and like 12 seconds left, and then snapped, threw a bad pass. I picked it, returned it to their 33 yd line with 3 seconds left and kicked a FG to win it.

CPU pass defense against me was fairly weak. It was Iowa, which I would put maybe a little better than UK. In my experience playing against UK, it's of my opinion that one of the developers went to UK. They always gave me a hard time in the SEC
