Re: Random Discussions
Put me on the Yes salmon list for sure. We do a lot of Blue Apron/Home Chef dinners and they probably hit us with salmon 2x a week and it's great

I honestly don't know how anyone can hate salmon. It is one of the most delicious things that is actually healthy.

Far from delicious and just meh...like tomatoes.
I can live with or without it.

Re: Random Discussions
Yeah, it ain't cheap. We do 4 Blue Apron dinners/week and then 2 from Home Chef. Pretty pricey but my wife recently re-entered the work force and I can't cook shit, so it was resulting in a lot of eating out which is then either pretty unhealthy or expensive in it's own right. Plus it saves on the guilt/planning.

Re: Random Discussions
Haha yeah we like things easy. Plus my daughter (15) is getting into cooking so she likes to make them. Plus it’s good for portion control and shit

Haha, I gotta be careful or I’ll throw on 10 pounds in a month so I find healthy stuff that I like and roll with it.

I was eating pizza 5-6x a week (counting lunches/dinners) during the winter. I also hit my highest weight ever... 264. Ouch.

Re: Random Discussions
Double post... to be clear... the eating pizza part was fully intentional. I went a journey to try to find the best pizza in Dayton/Cincinnati. Had some excellent pizza. But went from 240 in early October to 264 in late Feb. Not the best of life choices.

Whew... oh no... I've been putting in the work. Down 29lbs from late Feb until today. Work at home, play my Playstation, play basketball/soccer with my kids, built a gym in my garage and never eat after 8p. I'm made for this quarantine life.

Re: Random Discussions
I just got asked to make my deep dish pizza for a friends son who has been with his grandparents since this Corona shit started shutting stuff down. Now I get to tweak some of the recipe a little to see if I can get it any better.

100% agree! But I don't have a wood fired stone pizza oven.
There was this place in Hawai'i that had an amazing NY style pizza. Nice and thin and greasy. LOVED it

Re: Random Discussions
That sounds good too! I haven't made any in probably 20 years. Maybe something I'll make for next week
