If I'm not mistaken, he leads all QBs in 4th quarter QB Rating and also in 4th quarter comeback wins since he's been a starter, or something along those lines.
I know he botched 1 snap at a really bad time lol. But otherwise, his rep as the choke artist seems way off base.
yeah
I've always thought the guy was really good
I've said for years that he is rather easily the most underrated player in the NFL. I'd imagine if you search my posts, I've posted it a few times lol.
He's not top tier worthy(Manning/Brees/Rodgers/Brady), but he's basically at the top of the next teir, whatever that may be.
But lets not act like his performances at big levels arent mediocre at best.
Throw for 9000 yards and 80 tds but get to the playoffs against tougher teams and have 4 performances that he has shows some merit that he isnt all that on a bigger stage, no?
4 games not enough?
I will say he hasnt had another shot since 2009 and thats not his fault and has definitely improved since then.
But to my greater point, if he leads the team down the field for the win instead of the INT, no one is backtracking off of their "Romo is a choker stance".
So the whole idea is dumb if he can only be a choker, but not be clutch. That's what I'm getting at.
Cant say no one, but you can say the media wouldnt.
I would have given him some credit as he has been looking like a top 5 QB all season and has always been good in my eyes.
But if you are watching that, most people were thinking "when is the romo moment?" and there it was solidifying the moment. (Saw 5 posts about it on FB but thats more to your point I guess )
I think 4 NFL playoffs games is a pretty good sample size in comparisons to other sports.

Honestly, Luck/Ryan/STafford were the 3 who I thought were similar. Could go either way on all 4 of those guys, but Romo would be 1st or 2nd on that list for me.
