When Boston manager Jeff Ruffin was asked why he didn't sit any starters against a Washington team that was benching regulars and sub .500 Tampa team he stated "We wanted to see what NE's first playoff matchup was going to feel like".

I know winner of Wash/Cincy plays Boston. Which series winner gets Richmond? Once I know I will throw up some predictions

I'm not even in the playoffs but I have two legit candidates for NL MVP on my team lol. I was thinking Grady all year, but Hoffman had a hell of a second half season. 8.9 WAR for Grady and 8.6 WAR for Hoffman.
