I think the one thing that comes out of this is that companies will realize they don't need the 100+ office space for employees as they now realize they can effectively work from home, which saves the companies $100's thousands a year in lease/electric/water bills
It's going to majorly mess with the economy if we have an extended en masse switch to working from home. From office space, to housing prices, heck to mechanics due to less mileage put on cars. Could be nuts

But on the flip side there is more money in people's pocket if they work from home so they can spend it elsewhere

Oh for sure - in theory. I guess I didn't mean it like it'll be a drag on the economy, moreso that it'll be a sudden shift.
The Bubba Wallace story just gets more and more confusing. Just when Wallace himself finally backs off and says it wasn't a noose, Nascar made public the pic, it sure looks like a noose to me and nothing like the other pics we originally saw, so I don't know why the other pics would like entirely different than this one?
This is not a noose. It does not slip. It's a bowline with multiple wraps. Did they need to do multiple wraps so it looks like that? Maybe? If the rope was very long and they wanted it at a specific height, they'd wrap it.
NASCAR president Steve Phelps says NASCAR conducted a "thorough sweep of all 29 tracks where they race, and 1684 garage stalls, they found only 11 total ropes that had a pulldown rope tied in a knot, and just one noose: The one in Bubba Wallace garage."

heres what Trendon told me and makes sense.. maybe its both?
maybe its a rope for the door.. but they know a black guy uses that garage so they made it look like a noose?
shocker to think outside the box for a second.
But how would they know Bubba was going to use that garage given that that exact rope tied in that fashion had been there since 2019?
I agree it's entirely odd that this was the only knot tied that way out of 3k garages, then the black guy "randomly" gets that garage. But if it's been there since 2019, I'm not sure how else to take it as it was random, especially given that garages are given by ranking so it's not like they're even randomly assigned from my understanding.

There is no "flipping" it Nick. There's nothing to flip. What Shel says here is the point. It's been there, like that for a year.

There were posts/videos with other stalls that had both loop ends and knot ends. What is the source on this? Is this the level that we really want to break it down to? Can I get the # of loop ends vs. knot ends? Gonna also need to the # of wraps per loop end, so we can get a scale of potential racism, with 13 loops and a slip (a noose) being full on racist.
I know it’s brutal and a dark part of history but I kinda chuckle thinking to myself how slave owners couldn’t kill black ppl by lynching them back in the day unless they had 13 wraps in their ropes.

As corey posted, it is identical to most in that video that Reign posted.
I am still baffled at how this gets to the point that the FBI comes in.
How does someone not stop and say, uh, Bubba, uh Nascar, look down the garage, every door is tied that way!

Because it was the only door out of 1684 garage stalls that Nascar uses on Nascar tracks, and further out of all those stalls at 29 tracks, only a total of 11 stalls had a rope at all but again, none tied in that fashion to look like a noose.

Here's an example of the pics I saw that claim it's the same exact rope tie in the same stall. You can see it's clearly different, way smaller. The one in this pic below I wouldn't think for 1 second was a noose. The one I posted earlier from Nascar, I think immediately that it looks like a noose.
I'm not so sure this was the same rope from 2019 as has been claimed, just not sure how those 2 ropes can be the same exact rope/knot.
What’s your “thing” to buy or collect? .. mine is fitted baseball hats. Buying a Colorado Rockies black/purple off a friend tonight for $20 since it don’t fit him. Pumped. Don’t think I’ve ever had a Rockies hat. This Dodgers one smells so bad I can’t keep wearing it.
My other one was obscure funkos. I knew theyd be inflated eventually so I bought WWE Ultimate Warriors for like $10 and last time I checked on Amazon it was $150. Not bad. I have Oogie Boogie man from Nightmare Before Christmas among others. I look now and theyre 20+. Not as enticing anymore
