My list, this year, right now. Totally different list if we are going "one game, must win"

Manning
Brady
Brees
Rodgers
Ryan
Romo
Luck
Rivers
Kaepernick
Wilson
Stafford
Flacco
Griffin
Eli
Big Ben

Corey, if you're going this year, right now, what do you base Ryan above Romo on?

Also, if I'm going 1 game for my life, I'm going Rodgers, whether it's right now, last year, or the year before.

And I would say 5-15 (maybe minus the last 2) can be interchangeable at any moment as some rise and some decline as they are all really good.

I think Rivers is one of the better in the league.

Wilson is looking like he is the real deal and I like him but not sure over Rivers yet.

Kaepernick is a conundrum and didnt expect him to be any good let alone this good.

Yesterdays game is a summary of Romos entire carreer. Does a bang up job through the first 3/4 of the year then flops at the very end. He destroyed Denver's defense the entire game til the last drive where he makes a bonehead pass and gives them the game. Hes married to a hot ass wife but will cheat on her with Rosseane Barr on a drunken road trip. You laugh, but its going to happen.

As a Cowboy fan I knew a mistake was from him was imminent yesterday. It was bound to happen.

No, no. You play Romo as the Starting QB for 3.5 quarters, then bring in Orton as the Closer for the last .5 quarter and tell him to ONLY hand the ball off to Murray. You may even consider Garrett strapping on the helmet as an emergency Setup QB. Let's be forward thinkers.

dont you guys know that in sports the only thing that matters is the final 3 minutes of a game? who cares about the first 57 when youre going shot for shot with arguably the best team the NFL has seen in 5+ years, no thats irrelevant. Throwing for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns is nothing because you throw 1 INT, might I add that if you read the play by play Dallas could of stopped them and got the ball back but the defense couldnt. a pity, maybe Romo can play D for Dallas too..

All that being true and I agree that up to that point he out-dueled Manning. It was still a bonehead throw. If this was a first for him, it wouldnt be worth mentioning. But guess what.....it has happened to that same guy time and time again. The hold, the fumble, the int. Hes his own personal version of the early 90's Cleveland Browns/Buffalo Bills cant get out of his own way.

Man ive seen a bunch today...

Again, highest 4th quarter QB rating and most 4th quarter comebacks, I believe.

Hes good. I get it. But hes still not "clutch." I would gladly take him as my 1st half QB then switch on to Manning or Brady for the 3rd and 4th.

which reminds me....

I understand this. I really do.
I don't. :)

If I'm not mistaken, he leads all QBs in 4th quarter QB Rating and also in 4th quarter comeback wins since he's been a starter, or something along those lines.

I know he botched 1 snap at a really bad time lol. But otherwise, his rep as the choke artist seems way off base.

Eli and Ben both have more in same time frame.

Forget the drama stuff on this list with Jessica simpson and TO. Few good tidbits to cement that argument.

1. Romo and Simpson were photographed in Cabo San Lucas during the bye week of the 2008 playoffs, the week before he and the Cowboys lost in a close game with the Giants.

2. 2008 Week 17 Vs. Eagles - In the eleventh hour, Romo and the Cowboys faced off against the Eagles for the final playoff spot available in the NFC.
The Cowboys went on to get trounced 44-6, as Romo threw an interception and lost two fumbles. He passed for only 186 yards and no touchdowns and his record in December fell to 5-8 in his career at that point. This raised questions of his ability to be a good quarterback and leader in the clutch.

3. 2009 PLayoffs - A week after winning the first playoff game of his career against the Eagles, Romo laid yet another big-game egg. He came out flat and overwhelmed against the Vikings defense, as he was sacked six times, threw an interception and fumbled three times, losing two. The 'Boys lost the game 34-3.

4. 2007 Playoffs - With nine seconds left in the game, and the Cowboys down 21-17, Romo threw an interception in the end zone that landed safely in the hands of R. W. McQuarters. The loss marked the first time in 20 years that the number one seed in the NFC lost their first game in the playoffs and sent the Cowboys home with six consecutive playoff losses since 1996.

5. Cowboys Stadium Opener - In the home opener of the 2009 season, the first home game played in Jerry Jones' palace, Romo and the Cowboys laid an egg. He threw three interceptions against only one touchdown and 127 yards passing.

6. The Fumble - It is the absolute worst thing that a player can do, make a mistake that costs his team the game, and this was one of those mistakes.
The field goal would have sent the Cowboys to the second round of the playoffs. The thing about this play is, that if Romo would have made it those last few inches and scored a touchdown, we would be talking about that play completely differently. It would be a testament to Romo's quick mind rather than his nervous fumble.
