That's part of the reason why I lost the division. While it would've been nice to win, I knew I was facing Beefy either way and that after the first round (if I advanced), I'd be the road team the rest of the way. So instead of trying to match up w NorCal's pitchers, I threw who I needed to in order to reset the rotation.

It didn't help tho that my SP in one of the games went down in the first inning and taxed my pen for the week

Wasn't anything close to an excuse. I'm stating that I was more concerned about setting up for playoffs than winning the division. Ted was in a similar situation (knowing he was in but winning more mattered little) and it would've made sense for him to do the same, but as we now know he wasn't exporting. Even had I focused on winning, no guarantee I would have.

didnt say it was an excuse (although most times it is) i said it SOUNDS like an excuse

No winning my division mattered. I would have gone all out. Philly gets the winner of you a beefy. I get to play bear then if i win, Reign. He has the much better road.
