Yeah, how crazy is that with all of his previous strong teams...May be he brings the title back in our division this season? That is a crazy thought, he wins the division, yet I won the title....huh...

Was really interested to see how high his contract numbers were going to be driven up by this off season though.

AL Wild Card:
PO up 2 games on Miami
PO has a tougher schedule
Miami has 13 games on the road where they are only 32-36 on the season(Dat -11 Pythag doe!)

Nasty prediction:I think this is one of those 1 game playoffs we seem to have pretty consistently to end the season, PO wins the H2H matchup and gets the last spot

AL Blue/#1 Seed:
Boston up 3 games on Washington
Boston has 9 at home, 9 on the road and an easier schedule than the Crabs
Washington has 12 games on the road versus only 6 at home and a tougher schedule
Might come down to the last series of the season where the Crabs head to Boston for a 3 game set

Nasty Prediction: Boston holds off the Crabs and locks up the division and that #1 seed

NL White/NL Wild card
I am putting these all together as the NL Red and NL Blue are pretty much locked up with Dillonvale and WF
Between Bama, Hillsboro, Cookeville, and Toronto they are all separated by 2 games
Toronto draws the short straw with 15 games on the road versus only 3 at home
Philly and Hillsboro have 13 at home and only 6 on the road
Cookeville will also be on the road a lot down the stretch with 12

Nasty Prediction: Bama's pitching locks up the division, Hillsboro and Philly outlast Toronto's brutal road stretch and lock up the WC spots

I'm out of the playoffs, again, but a late season bright spot has been Togolese starter Anaba Garang. He's kept an ERA in the mid to low 2's and has been solid in every start. It gives me hope going forward with him, Spike Ashley (if he comes back from injury alright), and Bill O'Connor. I'm pretty sure he's the first guy from my international complex to make an impact at the major league level. If everyone stays healthy this give me three good young pitchers to build around. I just need to find a way to re-sign Nick Byrd.

I'm hoping you're right, but I think Toronto ends up edging us out. They've slowly been catching up and my team is just in some kind of funk right now.

AA made AJ pony up a few extra bucks for dangling him on the trade block for 2+ seasons.

What a nerve racking final three weeks. The NL is going to have a couple of teams with very good seasons not in the playoffs.

Alabama still has series left vs. PHI, CKV, HIlls, and TOR- it's do or die time. According to my players in the box score, we have lots of grit.
