at that point, those were the only 3 guys on the team... with maybe Chalmers as well.

everyone else they signed after.

Thats the difference between im and the greats. Anyway thats my two cents about what I saw, but I don't know shit from apple butter about hoops so do not slam me too hard! :)
you don't think LeBron works hard?

i'm not trying to pick on you Pat, but this is the shit i'm talking about. people just have no idea what they are talking about, they hear it from another person and they run off with it, it snowballs and now he's the most hated person on earth.

LeBron is supposedly legendary in terms of work ethic. He is a nut about the foods he eats and is in the gym non stop. None of which is surprising as many NBA players, even the scumbags, have amazing work regimens... thats why they are at the peak of their profession.

Again I don't know a thing about basketball strategies, offense etc....but why wouldnt the starting five for Miami be Chalmers, Wade, Haslem, Bosh and Lebro and just have Lebron run the fucking point? Then have Wade and Chalmers run off screens and what not and Haslem and bosh are your scoring threats down low? Is that not possible to do?

Miami didn't lose because of offense.

they were fine offensively (95 points on 47% shooting is usually good enough for that team)... they lost b/c of defensive lapses and Dallas' amazing shooting.

as for your question, Haslem was hurt most of the year and still working his way back in. Chalmers was horrific most of the season and finally turned it on late and played well and Spo didn't realize Bibby was useless until game 6. The guys you named play the lions share of the minutes anyways, so it really doesn't matter who the first 5 out there are.

Most Hated Athlete List

LeBron is #2 behind only Barry Bonds. He's ahead of OJ.

Bonds barely registers on my list anymore. Considering the landscape of baseball the last 20 years, he's not worse than 75% of the rest of the guys out there. I dislike A-Rod more than I dislike Bonds.

You criticize him for sounding arrogant and then you post this. You realize that quite a few people in this league have "nothing more than a high school diploma" right?
how'd I know that would come up...

Never did I use the word arrogance, and how many people with only a high school diploma are a world icon like him where every word/face/action he makes is criticized to the same degree?

i know you say its not about offense Dave, but it sure seemed like it was the last 6 minutes last night. i mean did Miami call any sets? I mean ANY? It was like watching a pick up game.

Its tough when Wade and Lebron and "basically" the same player.

There was a specific posession late when they (Heat) must have passed 7 times in a 5 second span.

Bad offensive strategy if you ask me. I mean why not continue to feed Bosh or Wade or whoever in the post. they arent doubling off wade or lebron. I mean surely one of the "top 20" players in the league can handle someone 1 v 1 in the post.

For heavens sake please stop running the pick n roll out at the 3 point line.

also, make you free throws.

I thnk Lebron is the best current NBA player. However, he doesnt seem to own his defeats real well. They asked them about if the finals were a choke, and he ande wade played it off. One time I want to hear them say "give Dallas credit, but yes, i think we choked"

Lastly, Jordan was hated at his peak too. Maybe not to this level, but he wasnt talked about as graciously as he is now

I actually enjoyed the cavs owners tweet about the life lesson.....there are no shortcuts (although he needs to let it go already)

i had to rub my eyes on that one play AJ, i couldnt believe it was the heat making 7 passes. the norm is dribble till you have 5 seconds left on shot clock and throw it up.

the zone screwed miami tempo.but why didnt they stick with what was working. throw to lebron at the free thow line and let him hit the low guys or throw it outside . but the guy didnt want to penetrate the lane for some reason.

glad to see peja get a ring as well ,after the nba screwed the kings back in the day. ask the ref

the Heat let up 100 points 3 times in the postseason... the disaster in game 1 vs the Bulls and the last 2 games. last night was the 2nd most points Miami scored all series (95). Dallas was a more efficient offensive team than Miami all season while Miami was a far better defensive team than Dallas. When the game gets into the 100's that tells me that Dallas was in control and playing the game they wanted to play and Miami's defense (or Dalls shooting) didn't show up.

3 of the passes probably came from Lebron, just trying to get the ball out of his hands as fast as possible.... errr... I mean... facilitating. :-P

I know I've commented about it before (probably about D. Rose), but the more I think about it, the more I love watching these guys jump into the air and then look for someone to bail them out. I mean hell, I'm 32 years old now, I need these young kids to pick up terrible habits like this so I can continue to hang with them in the local rec leagues! I'd much rather them start doing this crap then learning to use a Eurostep and break my ankles (literally... yeah, I used that word).

What I find funny is you speak on "well-spokenness" meanwhile you're a real estate agent lol, which unless I live under a rock, is a horrible field to be in, meanwhile you graduated from Texas in Journalism, what you gonna do write Real Estate magazines? You made a life choice and wasted 4 years to be a real estate agent you could of been outta high school, you may be well spoken but you're an idiot lol.

...and if you don't think LeBron speaks well for a high schooler then I don't know what to tell you, that's all i was saying yet again people decide not to read what i write and instead make it as if I'm bashing them

Man this thread is just spewing hate, vicious.

I have my own hate but it's actually towards the game of basketball and not him personally.

I said it in game 1 many a page back that the way Miami trapped was going to be the death of them and it was. Miami didn't need to continually run out instead of just manning up but it created open shots that Dallas was not missing the last 2 games.

Couple that with horrible execution in all of the 4th quarters and you have a loss.

it was very creative and seemed to keep dirk out of rhythm, if that even mattered last night because he said he had a terrible game, but it was almost like they didn't need it and should have stuck with what got them there
