i think its 3.1 PA to every game played or some shit. I remember looking this up before for real life stats.
As of 2014, a player needs 3.1 bats, or appearances at the plate in each game of the season, to qualify for a Major League Baseball batting title. With a standard season of 162 games, each player vying for the MLB title is required to make 502 plate appearances.

Not sure but he should.
It's 3.1 plate appearances per the amount of games the team played to qualify.
So for Nick's guy, it should be about 425 plate appearances.

Put him at leadoff, but he'd need 5 plate appearances in 17 of 25 games, so Miami would have to hit the ball pretty well for him to get there.
